Overview

We provide coaching skills training based on Sir John Whitmore's best-selling, time honoured, book entitled “Coaching for Performance” and Carol Wilson’s “Best Practice in Performance Coaching”. The Performance Coaching for Leadership Certification course is designed to integrate coaching skills into your managers' leadership, team building and communication styles.

Purpose of the programmes

    • To provide executives with coaching skills and tools
    • To integrate these skills into your managers’ day to day communications
    • To enhance managers’ self awareness and enable them to tap into their innate resources and full potential as leaders
    • To increase managers’ efficiency and time organisation by improving delegation skills
    • To improve feedback skills
    • To improve team coaching and cohesion

Structure of the programme

The Performance Coaching for Leadership Certificate is a 2 day course spread over 1 month designed to enable your leaders to get the best from themselves and their teams.

In between the two training days (which can be run consecutively with a follow up conference call 1 month later) the participants are paired to practise their skills in the safety of working with a colleague from the course. This builds confidence and fluency enabling the managers to embed the new skills and use them in the workplace after the course is over.

The style of the training is learning by doing. This is a very practical approach in which participants will have the opportunity to practise coaching specifically about issues currently arising in their workplace and to get feedback from our trainers and each other during the programme.
