Carol WilsonInternational speaker, writer and broadcaster Carol Wilson is Managing Director of Performance Coach Training in partnership with Sir John Whitmore, Europe’s pioneer of coaching, and on the Executive Committee at Performance Consultants International. Carol experienced the value of a coaching culture at first hand when she worked at board level with Sir Richard Branson in the first decade of Virgin. During 25 years as a corporate director and MD, she became the first woman in the world to found a successful record company, the first woman director of global corporate Polygram and is now Honorary Vice President and Head of Accreditation at the Association for Coaching.

Carol was nominated for the AC Awards ‘Influence in Coaching’ and ‘Impact in Coaching’ and is the author of ‘Best Practice in Performance Coaching: a Handbook for Leaders, Coaches, HR Professionals and Organizations’ (2007 Kogan Page), featuring Forewords by Sir John Whitmore and Sir Richard Branson. She has presented at many conferences and workshops, including the HR Forum, Dubai Women in Business Conference, Coaching for Performance, Dept for Education and Skills, Royal Bank of Scotland, Cranfield University School of Management, Sky News, CIPD Coaching at Work, Brunel University Business School and Surrey University.

Since entering the field of leadership and coaching in 2001, Carol has specialised in creating coaching and leadership programmes in organisations through a global network of associates. Current clients include IKEA, CLM Olympic Construction Consortium, NCR (National Cash Registers), Westfields Retail Centres, Channel 4, Discovery Channel, Honeywell, Arts Council England and other public sector organisations.
